This January, we were delighted to meet Idris Elba’s stylist, who wanted our sheepskin Eastwood coat for Idris Elba to wear at the Sundance Film Festival 2018, where Idris was to make his directorial debut with the film Yardie, an adaptation of the 1992 novel by Victor Headley.
The Sundance Festival was held in Utah, USA with temperatures around freezing point during the Festival. Idris wore Cromford Leather’s sheepskin Eastwood coat and was photographed at the Festival looking both stylish and warm! Many of the stars were photographed wearing coats due to the low temperatures at the Festival. Idris paired the stone coloured sheepskin Eastwood with a classic combination of white jeans and black shoes.
Designed exclusively for Cromford Leather by Director, Pauline Harris, the Eastwood coat is a modern, stylish take on the classic double-breasted military coat. Featuring a deep collar with beautiful leather strapping and antique brass hardware, the details speak for themselves on this understated coat.
